Whit Spurgeon moved from Chicago to LA over 2 years ago. Not satisfied to simply audition for table scrap roles on TV and in film, he decided to take his fate a little bit more in his own hands in 2011, and started writing, producing and directing on top of his acting gigs.
His directorial debut, “One Sunday Afternoon,” will soon be finished and submitted to film festivals. He’s also written a short film script and a radio play with Dominic Conti, another lunatic involved in We Make Movies, and is working on producing various projects with Dawn Alden, another We Make Movies maniac. He continues acting with several directors and writers in the We Make Movies gang. His philosophy is, “If that idiot can do it, there’s no reason I shouldn’t give it a whirl.”
